RULES OF THE SCHOOL

 All pupils shall attend the classes punctually, well prepared in previous topics. They shall come to school neat and tidy in the prescribed uniform.


 Pupils who come late will be admitted to the class only with the permission of the Principal.


 Pupils are strictly forbidden to scribble on the wall, furniture or any part of the school premises..


 Pupils at all times should show respect and reverence to the teaching staff. They should be gentle and polite to their companions.


 Changing of class between periods should be done in silence and in order. No loud shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises. It is strictly forbidden to throw anything at another.


 Exchange of articles and money transaction between students is not allowed.


 No books other than those used in class or taken from the school library may be brought to the school.


 Students should themselves be responsible for their own books, pens, tiffin carriers and other articles they bring to school.


 Parents who bring lunch are not allowed to wait near the classroom or verandahs. They should wait near the gate till lunch bell rings. Then the students themselves should fetch their lunch.


 Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards teachers and members of the staff and other reprehensible behavior may entail dismissal from the school.


 For absence of more than three consecutive days a medical certificate will have to be produced. Where long leave becomes necessary, due to unavoidable reasons, permission from the principal has to be obtained in advance.


 A student who does not secure 85% attendance will not be allowed to attend the final examinations.


 The school accepts no responsibility if through failure in wearing school uniform, or in bringing books of class or in getting signatures of parents on remarks written by teachers on progress reports, the pupil is obliged to return home during class hours. Even late comers may be sent home.


 Class Leaders can enter staff rooms, only after getting permission from their teacher.


 Pupils of one class should not go to other classes even during intervals.


 Not attending the morning assembly without prior permission will be viewed as an act of indiscipline.


 Every student should have an identity card which he/she should carefully carry with him/ her always as testimony of bonafide. This identity card will be issued by the school.


 Parents, Guardians or other person are forbidden to see the students or to meet teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal. The members of the staff can be seen during their free time by prior appointment.


 Students suffering from contagious or infectious diseases will not be permitted to attend the classes.


 Open house is a facility provided for all parents along with their wards to interact with their teachers and to sign the achievement cards.
